Our history
We have been there from the beginning, our age-old experience in the energy sector on the continent is unmatched. Our people and partners across the globe come together to the table with over 250 years of experience in the global oil, gas and energy sectors. At Guuru, we move different and hence why we strive to be an energy company with purpose, placing sustainability at the core of our business strategy.
Our future
Africa is the future fastest growing continent in terms of population with an expected increase from 1.3 billion to 4.3 billion by 2100 and energy demand to meet the technological and industrial revolution. We understand the critical role the African energy sector will play in defining the pace of the transition globally. Between about $1.3 trillion and $1.6 trillion, averaging $1.4 trillion, will be needed over 2020–30 to implement Africa’s climate action commitments and Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs).
