Energy Audits
Our energy audits at residential buildings, commercial buildings, industrial complexes and field operations help determine your energy efficiency through a complete electricity consumption assessment and energy efficiency that pinpoints trouble areas that are wasting energy. A reduction in wasted energy results in reduced energy costs. We strongly advise you undertake an energy audit before implementing a renewable energy system.
Two types of energy audits are available: a preliminary energy audit is simply a data-gathering exercise that offers a general analysis. The detailed energy audit involves monitoring your consumption over a period of time, analyzing consumption trends and verifying energy use to establish problem areas and ways to implement energy efficiency improvements. If implemented, most of the recommendations can save from 5–30% on your energy bills by implementing our suggestions.
Installation of Solar Systems, Inverters and Batteries
Guuru Energy offers you system design to enable us to identify the ideal system to meet your energy generation and storage needs. We ideally offer this service to large complexes, industrial sectors, commercial developments and large residential developments. We will carry out a pre-site, site assessment to understand peak and average load.

Clean Cooking Solutions
The lack of clean cooking solutions is a global challenge and one of the key sectors in Africa for accelerating one of the green energy transitions. 900 million people on the continent lack access to clean cooking: in East Africa averaging at less than 20%. While most East Africans want cleaner fuel like LPG, the high upfront cost of buying an upgraded, compatible stove and an entire gas cylinder has kept the product out of reach for many. Off-grid lighting companies receive 10x funding from the typical traditional investors who consider early-stage cookstove companies too high-risk. Despite the potential for outsized impact, many impact investors have shied away from clean cooking. Currently two of the most promising innovations are e-cooking devices such as hotplates powered by off-grid energy systems and LPG, a cleaner burning mixture of propane and butane.
Guuru Energy alongside her partners have developed three different cooking solutions encompassing commercial large-scale, low-income households and supporting the LPG value chain with storage and distribution capacity.

Energy Mix Study
Guuru Energy will undertake a quantitative and qualitative study to evaluate the composition and sources of energy produced and used within a specific region or country. The aim of the study is to assess the current energy demand, generation and consumption patterns, identify the different energy sources being utilised including potential primary renewable energy sources that can be developed for clean grid or off-grid electricity generation.
The study outlines energy demand and consumption for transport, domestic, business and commerce, taking into consideration urban and rural geographic settings. We will help you project your future energy needs and recommend priority areas for investment with high energy value returns.
